Privacy Policy.
The short version
We do not run accounts, we set no cookies and we keep no database of visitors. Your keys are made in your browser and never reach us.
Introduction
A privacy product should collect as little as possible. This page lists the few places where data passes through our infrastructure, and why it does.
What we do not collect
- No accounts, email addresses or phone numbers
- No cookies, trackers or third-party analytics
- No copies of your spending key, viewing key or notes
- No record linking your wallet to your shielded activity
Keys and notes
When you connect a wallet, the app asks for a signature and derives your Cloakr keys from it inside the page. Keys, notes and proofs stay in your browser. Anything the app remembers between visits, such as which wallet you picked, is kept in your browser's own storage, where you can clear it at any time.
Chain requests
Our pages read Robinhood Chain through a proxy on this site at /api/rpc, so they work without third-party scripts. The proxy forwards read-only requests to the chain and does not store them. Like any web host, our hosting provider may keep short-lived technical logs such as IP addresses and request times.
The relayer
When you send or withdraw privately, the app hands the relayer a finished proof and the public inputs needed to submit it. That data is published on chain in any case. The relayer never receives your keys and cannot change where funds go.
What is public on chain
Deposits into a pool and withdrawals out of it are ordinary blockchain transactions, recorded permanently by Robinhood Chain and its explorers. Transfers inside a pool publish only commitments, nullifiers and encrypted notes.
Links to other sites
Our pages link to X and to the Robinhood Chain block explorer. Those sites have their own privacy policies.
Changes and contact
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Questions can go to @GetCloakr on X.
